I busted my old corded B&D trimmer on a thick stem. So, off to find a replacement. After being very disappointed by the newest version of a B&D cordless drill I needed to replace, I looked at a lot of brands. Cost was also a factor. I landed on the corded version of this model. While telling my dad how it cut right through the stem that killed the old B&D, he mentioned he could use a new one too. I bought him this cordless version with an extra battery. He has a lot more property than I do and his hedges are spread all over it. He tells me he got through most of the hedges with the first battery and was glad I got the second one. BTW, a second real Greenworks battery was way more reasonable in cost than most other brands second tier batteries. We both love the tilt head that allows vertical cuts w/o a strange holding pattern. So far, so good. The only thing to see now is how it and the batteries hold up.I was a bit hesitant to get this at first because I am used to Ryoubi and Black and Decker products. However, I saw good reviews for this trimmer and it was on sale during Amazon Prime Day, so I got it.It's easy to use, pretty powerful for being wireless, and it trims very smoothly. Just need to make sure to keep the blades lubed in between uses. I love the rotating function!Perfect for my needs. Very easy to handle and just right for light trimming. Love the fact that it is battery operated.I recently got this hedge trimmer and wish I had done so sooner. It is light weight, and the supplied battery holds a good charge, so you can work with it for a long, long time. The handle rotates so you can adjust the grip, but I haven't found myself using that as the weight and handle design are comfortable as is.The blades are new and sharp, so they trim bushes and hedges quickly. Time will tell how the blades hold up. Can they be sharpened or replaced? I wonder...I had suggested we get a powered trimmer for years, but my wife insisted on doing things the hard way with manual tools. Consequently our hedge and bushes never got much attention. Now they will be MUCH easier to keep trimmed and looking good. This is the only powered trimmer I have used, so I can't compare it to others. However, it works great, so I would recommend it.Great tool! As a woman it’s easy to use, lightweight and does an extremely good job! Love it!Does it good job trimming brushes around the house.Love that this is light, rechargeable and easy to use. Tired of waiting for my landscaper, I got this and within a short time my rose and other bushes looked professionally landscaped. It was actually fun to use and the results very gratifying. Also saved money since I didn't have to pay my landscaper to do it so will pay for itself quickly. Highly recommendI have this trimmer, a weed wacker and a blower, all in the 24V family. Very happy with the quality and value for my suburban home lawn care. The rotating head is a nice feature. We bought this because our last trimmer was getting very heavy to hold. We trim a long row of 5 feet hedges that line our driveway. This product cuts the small and bigger branches (and the foliage) with no problem. And it's light to hold for a prolonged period of time. The tilting head makes it easy to cut along the sides of the hedge.Excelente producto y entrega antes de lo previsto. So far I'm impressed with this purchase.Enjoy the lightweight of using a 24v battery and more than enough power and battery life to do the entire yard.24V greenworks products are great for my large lot with small areas of greenery. They are so portable and lightweight and run off the same batteries. Summer yardwork goes by quickly.works good lots of power and light to handle
