I use both first and second generation AirPods Pro. From day one, the case for my first gen Airpods Pro has worked flawlessly and is still as good as new. However, my second gen case began acting up about two months ago. The case would still charge to 100% along with the AirPods, but the case would begin to drain as soon as I removed it from the charger. It would be dead within 6 hours, even if I didn't touch the case once. If I used the AirPods, they would drain in about an hour vs 3-4 hours when they were new. I realized last week that the AirPods were only 6 days past my warranty expiration date, so I whipped over to the Apple Store to see if they would replace the case."Of course we can do that", was the reply. "It will only cost you $89.99, but we're out of stock right now. We can ship it to you when they are back in stock". When I saw this replacement case available at less than 50% of the cost of the Apple case, I told the "Genius" at Apple to give me my old case back and don't bother ordering a replacement.This case arrived the next day and it has been outstanding in every way. The appearance is practically identical to the OEM case. The materials feel comparable as well, but if the electronics are substandard, the case would be worthless to me. I have had no problems pairing it with my AirPods or devices like my iPhones, iPads and MacBook Air. It works just like my original case, except this Letsad case is even better because it can charge via USB-C instead of using the old-style lightning connector like the case that came with my AirPods Pro 2. Of course, these will also charge wirelessly via Qi fast charging. Qi was originally designed for Android, but also is compatible with MagSafe devices. Using a Qi charger will make the case warm to the touch, but wireless charging also causes the OEM case to get warm.If you find yourself in need of a replacement case, this is an excellent choice. I recommend it without reservation.
